OpenEmbedded

OpenEmbedded is a system for building embedded Linux software for embedded devices.

When understood and deployed well, it can greatly reduce the time and cost of dealing with embedded Linux. It minimizes the amount of manual repetitive work and the risk of user faults.

In a well-deployed setup, it builds the final software release from a single command, from a mix of open-source and proprietary source code.
